DAHLIA TUBER FAQs

INCLUDED WITH YOUR ORDER: We work hard to provide high quality dahlia tubers and guarantee that every tuber shipped has at least one viable eye. Every order placed will receive instructions for planting. If you are new to growing dahlias, it’s important to carefully follow instructions as dahlias require specific growing conditions.

DAHLIA TUBER SHIPPING: We only ship within the USA and all orders will be shipped using USPS shipping. Tubers will ship in April once freezing temperatures pass in your area. Shipping will be a flat rate of $15 for each order.

CART: Items in your cart are not guaranteed until you finalize your order. Your order is only confirmed once you checkout and receive an order confirmation number and email. We have limited stock of some varieties and they may sell out quickly.

LIMITED STOCK:  Certain varieties may have a household limit. These varieties are highly sought after or we may have a limited stock available. This allows us to share the beauty of those rare finds with more growers.

COMBINING ORDERS:  If you have placed more than one order and would like to combine them, please send us an email at info@jbflowerfarm.com and we will combine them for you and refund you for the additional shipping fee.

PAYMENT: We accept most credit cards and apple pay.

JUST INCASE: If something unexpected occurs with storage and we are unable to ship some or all of your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund you for the tubers that we are unable to ship.

DISEASE/VIRUS PREVENTION: We take virus and disease prevention very seriously on our farm. We sanitize snips in between each dahlia plant and carefully sanitize our dividing station between dividing tuber clumps. We cull any plants that show any sign of disease. While it’s difficult to part ways with some of our most coveted dahlia varieties, we prioritize the health of all of our plants and take measures to avoid disease transmission. This fall we randomly tested 25% of our dahlia stock for Tobacco Streak Virus and disposed of any varieties that tested positive. We can not guarantee that our all of our stock is virus/disease free, but we practice proper sanitation methods and do our best to prevent the transmission of virus and disease in our garden.
